Building Thinking Classrooms Summer Coaches Institute

Davis, CA (in-person)

Featuring Peter Liljedahl, Amy Chan, and Tom Lewis. A 5-day immersive BTC experience designed for coaches, consultants, and instructional leaders supporting teachers in their BTC journey. 


Includes participation in the Teacher Institute (July 21-23, 2026), two coaching-focused days (July 20 & 24, 2026), and one year of cohort support leading to BTC Certified Coach designation. Held at Da Vinci Charter Academy, Davis, CA. Cost is $4,500 USD (includes 5 days of workshops, hosted dinner, lunches, BTC book set, and one-year certification). Building Thinking Classrooms Summer Teacher Institute

Davis, CA (in-person)

Featuring Peter Liljedahl, Amy Chan, and Tom Lewis. A 3-day immersive BTC experience designed for classroom teachers ready to deepen their practice. Participants will experience full BTC lessons as learners, reflect as teachers, and explore all 14 practices in depth.

  • Day 3: July 23, 2026
